OUR PARTNERSHIPS
For the past couple of years Mon Chef is proud to have been involved with the annual Give More 24 event that raises money for local nonprofits. Through a partnership with Davidson Insurance of Vancouver, WA, this event goes to benefit Partners In Careers and its Roots To Roads program. The Roots To Roads program offers small-scale farm training to people in Partners in Careers programs. The majority of participants have been veterans. The one-acre plot is farmed by the participants and a portion of the produce goes to local food banks and pantries.
During this event Mon Chef has donated our time and services to create a multi-course farm to table luncheon that primarily uses produce from the farm. This event helps raise money for Partners In Careers, of which donated proceeds go towards their Roots To Roads Program.
PIC's mission is to assist individuals to become economically self-sufficient by providing resources, training and job placement opportunities.
Everyday, we help people turn their lives around and make positive and lasting changes in their lives.

At Mon Chef we do what we can to support our local economy.. There is nothing more satisfying than buying from local businesses that offer a level of quality that is unmatched by big box stores.
Although we do what we can to buy seasonal & local when possible. Often times however, this can be difficult due to our growing season.
